Reports of the worsening global financial crisis have become daily news staple of late. There are days when I methodically pour through the articles in an attempt to grapple with it, and other times when I glaze over the grim content in search of more palatable distractions.

 

One of my original objectives with launching this new blog was to track market opportunities overseas, both with forecasting intentions and potentially, future career prospects. I found tonight’s 7:30 Report broadcast on the ABC, about the dire state of the British economy however, a little hard to glaze over. It claims that the UK “will suffer more than any other industrialised nation”. This week, the British Government will start printing 75 billion pounds’ worth of new money, with the ailing British pound already fallen 25% against the Euro and the dollar.
