A brief guide to world domination

25 April 2009 | General Content

In my constant search for useful reports, tools, and information, I came across a quaint document which claims to be a guide to world domination. It includes points like:

  • The two most important questions in the universe
  • The clear alternative to being unremarkably average
  • Why ruling and changing the world are interrelated
  • The most important work we can do

I obviously had my tongue firmly in cheek while I went through it, although it had some fair enough points and nice anecdotes, and was harmless and amusing weekend reading. It read similarly to Seth Godin’s Tribes, which is the closest thing to self-help books I can digest.

Chris Guillebeau is the author of this document, and it’s here for you to sample, world conquerors.

Next on the reading list, “Breakthrough, from the death of environmentalism to the politics of possibility” by Ted Nordhaus and Michael Shellenberger.

Yes, I am a nerd.
